Application Virtualization

Application Virtualization allows you to run applications on your computer without installing the application.  If your company has more than 100 computers, runs a large number of applications, needs to quickly recover from a disaster or frequently updates applications then application virtualization may be a good fit for your company.  Application Virtualization reduces total cost of ownership by reducing the amount of time installing new application and updates.

Desktop Virtualization / Virtual Desktop Infrastructure

Desktop Virtualization (VDI) is usually a good fit for companies that have over 250 computers.  VDI runs a number of virtual desktops as virtual machines (VMs) on a virtual server cluster host.  This differs from session virtualization with Remote Desktop Services (RDS) because each user runs a dedicated VM instead of having multiple users access the same VM with different logon sessions.   VDI improves security, maintenance, patching, installing  and recalling applications.

Hyper Convergence with SimpliVity

SimpliVity is the next generation of Hyper Converged hardware.  ADS is a SimpliVity partner.  SimpliVity guarantees at least a 10 to 1 storage gain.  They utilize a hardware card that performs in line real-time disk deduplication and compression.  This card significantly reduces disk I/O activity.  You can create backups of VMs in a few minutes regardless of their size.  We have a client running a SimpliVity Cluster that replicates their entire infrastructure every 15 minutes to a Disaster Recovery Site.

Server Virtualization

Server Virtualization allows you to run multiple Virtual Machines (VMs) on a single host.  Virtualization saves money on hardware, reduces cost of ownership, simplifies backups, simplifies restores, simplifies Disaster Recovery, and reduces IT server management costs. ADS has over ten years experience with Virtualization.  We have expertise in VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V platforms.  For larger environments, we suggest Highly Available Server Clusters to prevent downtime in case of a hardware failure.
